Constantly growing nails and teeth
Just like us, a rabbit’s nails are constantly growing. If you have a pet rabbit, their nails should be checked monthly. If their nails are too long, they might need to take a visit to your local vet for a trim. The vet can teach your family in person how to trim your rabbit’s nails in the future.
Unlike us, a rabbits teeth are constantly growing and never stop! Luckily they are gradually worn down by regular eating. That’s why its important they have a constant supply of fresh hay, grass and vegetables to chew on to keep their teeth trim and healthy.

Rabbit superpowers
Did you know that rabbits are super athletes. They can leap as high as ninety centimetres in one jump!
Rabbits also have very long ears, growing as much as ten centimetres in length. Their ears help them hear in all directions. They also act as air conditioners in hot weather, helping to keep them cool.
Rabbits have large eyes located on the sides of their head. They are also often far sighted. This helps them in the wild to see predators approaching from far away.
